BananaAlarm Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
SinabroLab ("we") provides BananaAlarm for iOS and Android. This policy explains how we handle information in the App, support inquiries, and our privacy-policy website. Features differ by platform. No account or sign-in is required. Contact us at sinabrolab@gmail.com.
Information we use
Your alarms, notes, sounds, missions, and settings are stored on your device. We do not upload their contents to a SinabroLab server. Operating-system backups may contain this data. On iOS, an alarm note may appear on the Lock Screen.
The iOS app processes shaking-mission motion readings locally. On Android, "My Music" accesses the audio you select without uploading the audio file. Personal music imports are not available on iOS. Device settings let you manage permissions, although disabling alarm, notification, or motion permissions can affect related features.
We use Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Firebase Crashlytics. Their SDKs may process app and installation identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted, device and app details, IP addresses and approximate region, app and ad interactions, and crash or performance information. We use this information to understand usage, improve reliability, display and measure ads, and prevent advertising abuse. Our own iOS diagnostic events exclude alarm-note contents and raw motion readings.
If you email us or use Google Forms, we receive the information you submit, such as your email address, message, or screenshots. We use it to respond, investigate problems, and handle privacy requests. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Advertising and choices
On iOS, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) manages applicable advertising privacy choices. We check whether UMP permits ad requests. Where available, use "Ad privacy choices" in settings to review or withdraw relevant choices. This option is shown when Google's service requires it.
You can also manage Apple's tracking permission or Android advertising controls in device settings. Declining personalized ads or tracking does not necessarily remove all ads or all advertising-related data processing. Core alarms remain available without advertising tracking permission.
Advertising choices do not automatically disable Firebase analytics or crash reporting. The current iOS app has no separate switch for these services. Contact us about questions, objections, or other privacy requests.
Sharing and external services
Google LLC, its relevant affiliates, and advertising technology partners receive the information needed for the services described above. Some processing is performed for us; providers may also process information under their own responsibilities. Advertising partners may personalize ads according to applicable requirements and privacy choices. Advertising disclosures can qualify as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under some laws, even without payment for the data.
We require third-party services receiving personal information from the App to provide protection at least equivalent to this policy and applicable law and platform rules. We remain responsible for processing performed on our behalf. We may also disclose information as required by law or where necessary and lawful to protect users or defend legal claims.
Optional external searches send your query to the search provider. External sites and Google Forms may process connection and service information under their policies. Our website uses Wix, which processes technical information to deliver and secure the page. Website cookies and analytics depend on site settings and your choices. Use available website privacy controls or your browser's cookie settings. We remain responsible for website processing we determine.

Storage, transfers, and deletion
You can delete local alarms in the App or remove its data through your device. Uninstalling does not necessarily remove backups or information already held by service providers.
We keep support and feedback records under our control for up to one year from receipt, then delete them unless a longer period is legally required. Analytics and advertising retention depends on service rules and settings, including the time needed for troubleshooting, usage measurement, fraud prevention, and legal requirements. Google states that Crashlytics keeps crash records and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting deletion. Provider backups may take additional time to clear.
Support information may be handled in South Korea. Google and other providers may process information in the United States and other countries, whose privacy laws may differ. Google's transfer arrangements are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks?hl=en. Contact us for details of the recipients and safeguards applicable to your information, including how to obtain relevant copies. Using the App does not itself constitute consent to an international transfer.
Your privacy rights
Email sinabrolab@gmail.com to exercise your rights. Describe your request and provide enough context to locate the information. No account is required. We request identity or agent-authority verification only where appropriate and permitted by law. Sale or sharing opt-outs do not require identity verification, although information may be needed to apply the choice to the correct device or records.
Without accounts, we may need additional information to identify SDK records. We will explain limitations and work with providers on requests for which we are responsible. We respond within applicable legal deadlines. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. You may contact the relevant privacy regulator, and this policy does not limit your statutory rights.
The following rights apply where the relevant law covers our processing.
France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom: You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, and portability, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority or the UK ICO. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. SinabroLab is the controller for processing we determine. Relevant legal bases are performance of our service contract where necessary, legitimate interests in support, reliability and security where permitted, legal obligations, and consent for processing that requires it. Legitimate interests do not replace required consent, and this policy is not consent to optional processing.
United States: Applicable state law may provide access, correction, deletion, portability, sale/sharing or targeted-advertising opt-outs, authorized-agent requests, and appeals without unlawful discrimination. Use available advertising choices or contact us for assistance. To appeal a decision where that right applies, reply to our response or email "Privacy request appeal."
Japan: Where the APPI's conditions are met, you may request disclosure of retained personal data and relevant third-party disclosure records, correction, deletion, cessation of use, or cessation of third-party provision.
Brazil: LGPD rights include confirmation of processing, access, correction, portability, information about sharing and consent choices, withdrawal of consent, and anonymization, blocking, or deletion where applicable. You may also petition the ANPD.
Mexico: You may exercise access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition rights (ARCO), withdraw consent, or request limits on use or disclosure by contacting us. You may also seek protection from the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards, including app-storage protections, encrypted service connections, and limiting diagnostic information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
The iOS app does not verify users' ages. If you believe we or an integrated service have collected a child's information without legally required authorization or consent, contact us. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
Changes and contact
We will publish changes on this page and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
